| Mus（ハツカネズミ属） |

| Mus（ ハツカネズミ属 ）が確立した。ただし「Mus」と名づけられたのは、かなり後のことで、サンスクリット語の「mush（盗む）」がラテン語に取り入れられて、「mus」となったのが語源だ。ハツカネズミ（ Mus musculus ）が独自の種として現れたのは、最後の氷河期を経た紀元前8000年頃のことだった。 |
